See the competition heat up in the brand new kitchen at Melbourne Showgrounds and at foodie locations across Melbourne and regional Victoria.
Season five kicked off at the MCG, Melbourne's home of team battles and the perfect setting for the first of the team challenges. Italian Week saw pizza and pasta top the menu in Melbourne's famous eat street, Lygon Street, Carlton.
The contestants have since donned their aprons in top Melbourne restaurants: judge Gary Mehigan's The Boathouse, Donovan Cooke's acclaimed The Atlantic, and at Josie Bones in Collingwood, owned by former contestant Chris Badenoch,
Regional Victoria locations
Masterclasses and culinary challenges have taken the contestants to favourite foodie destinations across Victoria. From wine country – Red Hill Estate on the Mornington Peninsula and Stones of the Yarra Valley – to coastal Barwon Heads on the Bellarine Peninsula. And from historic Ballarat in the Goldfields, to the Royal George Hotel in the gourmet village of Kyneton and the RedBeard Bakery at Trentham, in the Macedon Ranges.
