Grade 5 Ski Free* Pass

Grade 5 students can ski FREE* at Victoria's five major alpine resorts of Mt Buller, Hotham, Falls Creek, Mt Baw Baw and Lake Mountain in 2011.

The Grade 5 Ski Free Pass entitles Grade 5 students in Victoria one free lift ticket or snow play pass at each of the five resorts so they can ski, ride or play in the snow free.

Just fill in your details, get your school to validate and stamp your form, and you're off to the snow for free!

The Grade 5 Ski Free Pass entitles Grade 5 students in Victoria ONE free lift ticket or snow play pass for ONE day only at each of the five resorts so they can ski, ride or play in the snow free! Form details may be checked at the chosen resort.

The Grade 5 Ski Free Pass must be validated and stamped by the student's Victorian Primary School administration office.

Parents of homeschooled children should provide a letter of registration from the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) stating that their child is homeschooled. No other verification of homeschooling education will be accepted.

Mt Buller, Falls Creek and Hotham

Valid: 2011 snow season (blackout period: 1 July  – 18 July 2011)
Visit: Respective Ticket Offices at Falls Creek and Hotham, and Village Office/Ski School Office at Mt Buller.

  • To claim free ticket, each child must hold a Grade 5 Ski Free Pass, and present this with a valid Victorian school stamp and coupon,
  • An adult lift pass or child lesson (valid for same day) must be purchased at the time of claiming the Grade 5 Ski Free lift ticket.

Mt Baw Baw

Valid: 2011 snow season
Visit: Mt Baw Baw Ticket Office.

  • To claim free ticket, each child must hold a Grade 5 Ski Free Pass, and present this with a valid Victorian school stamp and coupon,
  • An adult lift pass or child lesson (valid for same day) must be purchased at the time of claiming the Grade 5 Ski Free lift ticket.

Lake Mountain

Valid: 2011 snow season
Visit: Lake Mountain Ski Hire.

  • Free Ski Trail Pass – free children’s ski hire when hiring a set of adult skis; or
  • Snow play – hire one toboggan and get a second one free.
  • This coupon must still be attached to the Grade 5 Ski Free Pass when claiming.
