Overview

Alfresco dining

Alfresco or al fresco? To us they mean dining out in the fresh air. And since Victoria's got plenty of that fine fresh air to share, you'll find perfect spots for great food and wine all over the state.

A spot in the shade, or place in the sun

With wineries serving up exquisite fine food in picture perfect vineyard surrounds and cafes making the most of their great outdoors too, you're spoiled for choice.

Pick a spot on a sweeping lawn, on a deck or verandah, with river, lake, mountain or ocean views. Book a table in a gorgeous garden or country courtyard. Settle in for a fabulous meal, drawn from all that's local, seasonal and freshly grown.

Lovely locations

From Melbourne to the Murray and Gippsland to the Grampians, there's an outdoor setting just for you. With foodie spots on our bays and peninsulas, and top tables at picturesque lookouts, there's something at every pricepoint.

It's as much about the food and wine as it is about the setting. So when the sun shines and the weather's fine, why not dine outside?
