Episode 1: St Kilda

For Postcards' first episode in 2016, the team head to the colourful beach-side suburb of St Kilda. Glen's mouth is watering as he tastes the flavours of the world at some of St Kilda's best restaurants; Radio Mexico, Babu Ji and Luxembourg bar and bistro. Brodie wanders down the St Kilda esplanade market and enjoys the bay a different way – by a stand-up paddle board experience with The Zu Boardsports. Lauren shows us around St Kilda's most iconic streets; Acland Street, Fitzroy Street and Barkly Street and Rebecca visits the stylish Prince hotel and its award winning Circa restaurant, before uncovering the George Hotel's revamped stunning Ballroom.

Radio Mexico, Babu Ji and Luxembourg

St Kilda is just as eclectic in its mix of characters as it is proudly diverse in its dining options. Enjoy an international culinary experience with restaurant Radio Mexico – an authentic Mexican restaurant boasting flavours that pack-a-punch. Try anything from their Baja fish tacos to Chilaquiles hand cut corn chips with their signature margarita in hand.

Enjoy the flavours of India with a twist at restaurant Babu Ji. Celebrating traditional home-style meals, Babu Ji also offers non-typical curries with delicious street food options such as puff pastries and mango lassi.

Luxembourg Bar and Bistro brings a bit of France to St Kilda with its classic and contemporary fare. Already twice listed as a top 50 restaurant by The Australian, the menu is as well refined as its chic dining interior for a classy meal out.
