Episode 11: 22 April
This week, the Postcards team go to the Mornington Peninsula for fresh strawberries and fruit cider, to inner city Richmond for great pubs, to Myer Melbourne for Mother's Day papmering and high tea, and to Bendigo for the style of the Grace Kelly exhibition.
Strawberry Cider and Somerset View
With over 350 acres producing around 2500 tonnes of strawberries, the strawberry fields really seem to go on forever at Sunny Ridge Strawberries. In Main Ridge, an hour's drive from Melbourne, the farm is run by third generation strawberry farmer Matt Gallace and his wife Ruth. They've also created a new range of berry ciders called Cheeky Rascal, which are Australia's first 100 per cent pure-fruit blended ciders.
For a weekend away, Somerset View in nearby in Red Hill, offers a choice of self-contained accommodation. There are three houses to choose with a mix of contemporary and rustic interiors, that all have uninterrupted views of Port Phillip Bay, vineyards and farmlands.

If you're looking for a suburb renowned for amazing pubs, it's not far to inner city Richmond. The Richmond Club Hotel on Swan Street has reopened and is proving to be more popular than ever, and it's retained the casual charm and upmarket décor that originally made it a hit.
Just a few metres down the road is the Post Office Pizza Bar, with a huge drinks menu and such great food in a relaxed atmosphere you won't want to leave.
But you'll want to try Holliava near Punt Road, where the good times keep rolling on, whether it's a wedding or a beer in front of the fire before you head down the road to watch your team play.

Grace Kelly exhibition
The Grace Kelly: Style Icon exhibition was organised by London's Victoria and Albert Museum with Monaco's cultural centre, the Grimaldi Forum. Dresses, hats, glasses, gloves and artefacts belonging to one of the world's most beautiful women are featured alongside photographs and rare footage of Kelly. Her Serene Highness Princess Grace had a dress for every occasion, with such illustrious labels as Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent filling her wardrobe. Luxurious silks, slinky jerseys and soft chiffons were used to make the gowns, which were sometimes embellished with pearl beading and embroidery.

Throughout all the themed rooms, there is so much going that you'll just have to check it out for yourself.
On the last Sunday of each month enjoy tea by catering company the Big Group. There's a glass of sparkling on arrival, savoury and sweet treats, live music and a talk by a curator from the National Gallery of Victoria about the murals. Fine bone china and silver service complete the experience.
