Episode 09: Easter special
As the Easter weekend is time to relax, spend time with family and friends, and indulge in some chocolate treats, the Postcards team find some favourite places to get away and visit some delicious eateries.
Tara and Sorrento Cooking School
Like its namesake from Gone With The Wind, Tara white pillars make you feel like you're staying on a plantation, but it's in Portsea, a 90-minute drive from Melbourne. There's lots of room to move and places to relax, including a swimming pool and spa area.
If you ever want to leave Tara, there's lots to do in nearby Sorrento. For food lovers, the Sorrento Cooking School has an endless list of cuisines that you can learn to cook. As the school is run by chef Rachel Van Den Bosch, who used to be a naturopath, there's a focus on healthy food. You can join a group of foodies each Sunday for lessons or Rachel can come to your place.
