Scarf Festival 2017: Galaxies

03 5272 4701

Until 27 Aug 2017

Scarf Festival is the National Wool Museum's annual celebration of all things scarf.

The Scarf Festival 2017 theme is Galaxies: a textile journey to infinity and beyond.

This must-see textile exhibition is an eclectic showcase of original handcrafted scarves entered by anyone - from school kids to beginner crafters to accomplished artisans from Australia and internationally.

The festival is also an opportunity to share, learn and create with an exciting programme of craft demonstrations and workshops. Workshops on crafts such as felting, weaving and spinning will be held on selected Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the festival.

Pop-up craft markets will also be held on the Queen’s birthday long weekend, 10 to 12 June and the weekends of 8/9 July and 12/13 August.
