Open Garden at Frog Hill near Geelong

0472 997 880

28 - 29 Oct 2017

Come and visit Frog Hill a romantic and productive country garden near Geelong. The old home is nestled among established trees and offers views toward the foothills of the Otways.

Garden beds are filled with roses, salvia and many other old-fashioned favourites. Plant species are hardy and drought-tolerant and offer the pleasures of each season. A small orchard, berry house, vegetable patch, fowls and bees are included in this productive patch.

Kylie Treble will offer demonstrations and talking about her book 'Connect' featuring home-cooked recipes and promoting sustainable living for communities.

The Winchelsea CWA will provide refreshments, and Chris Tournier from Cottage Farm Nursery will have a plant stall with species suitable for drought-tolerant conditions.
