The Queenscliff 180 Family Swim is a one kilometre open water swim around the Queenscliff Pier for all ages. The swim is designed to go with the outgoing tide to assist swimmers and make it an easy and enjoyable swim for everyone.

The swim is now in its 26th year and will attract 600 swimmers and around 1,000 spectators to Queenscliff Beach and the surrounding parkland, promoting tourism to the Borough of Queenscliffe and Bellarine Peninsula.

All profits of the swim are being donated to two charities of which are Parkinson's disease research and Geelong youth homelessness.

Notable people attending and supporting the event include Matt Preston as the event starter, Pete Smith as the voice of the event and special guest Dr Peter Doherty.
