George Bass Coastal Walk

Enjoy panoramic views from a cliff top path high above the Bass Strait's surf and secluded beaches as you trace part of the route of George Bass's coastal discovery voyage over 200 years ago.

Location: San Remo to Kilcunda, Philip Island
Distance: 7km one way
Duration: 2 hours
Grade: Level 3 – Suitable for most ages and fitness levels. Some bushwalking experience recommended. Tracks may have short steep sections, a rough surface and steps. Walks up to 20km.
Getting there: This walk commences at the southern end of Punchbowl Road, off Phillip Island Tourist Road or from Bass Highway in Kilcunda.
