Come to visit this special, two-acre ‘natural’ garden surrounded by unspoilt bush in the Fish Creek area. There is an opportunity to extend your visit by walking beyond the garden into the surrounding bush. The gardeners have enhanced the natural landscape and features, exploiting a range of ecological niches. They have used an extensive palette of plants with mass plantings and handsome specimen plants. Paths meander through plantings, including xanthorrhoea that echo the bush. A ‘desert’ area features Ptilotus and other dry, sun-loving plants, while a lovely lily pond edged by a circular wooden boardwalk ends in a pavilion, beyond which the outlook extends towards Corner Inlet. There are also thickly planted beds with a wide range of native plants including kangaroo paws, persoonias, melaleucas and leptospermums. There is also a covered vegetable garden and orchard to explore.
