Ballarat Golf Club is Australia's second oldest golf club. The parkland course provides a challenge to all levels of golfers with narrow fairways, manicured greens and cleverly situated strategic bunkers.

Bendigo Golf Club

Par 72; 6,040 metres

Bendigo Golf Club is set in natural bushland with numerous bunkers and a lake requiring the golfer to be accurate off the tee. The course is home to a number of resident kangaroos.

Midlands Golf Club

Heinz Lane, Ballarat North
Par 72; 6,176 metres

This Peter Thompson-designed championship layout is set in picturesque surroundings featuring undulating fairways, five lakes and well-placed bunkers.

Axedale Golf Club

Eppalock Road, Axedale
Par 69; 5,181 metres

Axedale is located 15 minutes from Bendigo on the McIvor Highway. The course is undulating and features some hills with a creek winding through the layout.

Heathcote Golf Club

Patterson Street, Heathcote
Par 71; 5,829 metres

The course weaves its way through and around an assortment of imported pine and native gum trees. The toughest hole on the course is the 525 metres par five ninth hole, with out-of-bounds to the left, a row of tall pines to the right and a creek in front of a well bunkered green.

Buninyong Golf Course

The course is designed to blend in with the natural beauty of surrounding rolling hills and hundred-year old trees. Gently undulating with some hills and water hazards, the layout is challenging for beginners or experienced players alike.
