20 - 23 Apr 2018

The Pyrenees Unearthed Arts Festival will be held in and around Avoca over four days in April. The diverse activities provide opportunities to meet the artists and artisans in a relaxed atmosphere in the Heart of the Pyrenees.

The Official Opening and Avoca Art Show award presentations will take place in the Avoca Town Hall on Friday evening with local wines and finger food being served. The third annual art show will feature over 150 works of art by local and regional artists on Saturday and Sunday.

The weekend of art and culture continues bright and early with the Art Makers Market at the historic Railway Station from 9:00am. With over 15 artists and artisans showcasing their unique arts and crafts and buskers performing on the platform there will be plenty to entertain all ages.

Gallery 127 will also be open at the Railway Station and features works by Anthony Gibson, Member Wildlife Artists of Australasia Inc. The Tiny Towns Arts Trail runs over two weekends with 25 venues and studios open in ten towns across Central Goldfields, Victoria. Also over the weekend and along the Avoca River flats is the Wine and Food Festival and Avoca Riverside Market.
