Ballarat's city streets will come to life in music, dance and performance as part of the Australian National Busking Championships Regional Finals, hosted by the Rotary Club of Wendouree Breakfast.Set to be held on Saturday March 24, the regional finals will see a range of performers take to the busking stage that is the Ballarat CBD. The historic streets will come to life with a range of performances including fabulous music, dance, illusionists and artists. Busking is all about street entertainment, and with a $10,000 prize pool over seven major award categories, it promises to be a big day of fun and entertainment.The event is set to showcase Ballarat as an exciting regional cultural hub, with close to 40 busking hot spots set up across the city. The day will culminate with a finals concert and award ceremony to be held at the Uniting Church in Dana/Lydiard street from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.The Freight Bar and Restaurant will be hosting the Open Mic session from 8:00pm onwards for the Buskers to have some fun and continue to entertain the Public.
