Heathcote Winery has been awarded Australia’s Best Large Cellar Door and Cellar Door with Best Food in Heathcote for three years running by Gourmet Traveller Wine.

Heathcote Winery specialise in the production of shiraz, rosé and viognier. Their premium range of wines, sourced entirely from estate vineyards, are consistent medal winners. The signature brand Mail Coach Shiraz, now in its 19th vintage, delivers a quintessential Heathcote shiraz which is the envy of many other producers.

Tastings at Heathcote Winery are free and include the iconic single vineyard shiraz brands, Slaughterhouse Paddock and The Origin. Heathcote Winery also offers sauvignon blanc and an enticing Muscat to complete the experience.

Cellar Door offers free tastings seven days a week, and the Galleria Food and Wine Bar serves meals Wednesday to Sunday with events being catered. Choose a table in the historic Gallery whilst perusing some local artwork (open fire in winter and air-conditioned in summer) or dine Alfresco in the relaxed courtyard garden.

Chef Kate prepares a delicious range of seasonal meals, including share plates, Mezze cheese, antipasto platters and vegetarian options, all matched with great wine. Check out the current menu on the web, and bookings are preferred to avoid disappointment.
