Scenic lookouts

Famous for its mountainous and rugged scenery a million years in the making, the Grampians National Park has a number of spectacular scenic lookouts. Some are easily reached by car, some an easy walk, and others will lead you down spectacular sandstone ridges and between unusual rock formations to behold the awe-inspiring vistas.

Pack your camera and follow your feet along designated walking trails to well-known lookouts at mounts Sturgeon and Stapylton, Boronia Peak and Hollow Mountain.

Reed Lookout
Take in stunning views over the Victoria Valley and the Serra Range, Lake Wartook and the Mount Difficult Range. This area and the Balconies walk are also wonderful for wildflowers during spring.
Mount Victory Road, Central Grampians

The Balconies
One of the region's greatest attractions, two sandstone rocks jutting from a cliff face. The Balconies are a great place to take in views to the Victoria Valley.
The Balconies is a 40-minute walk from Reed Lookout.

Boroka Lookout
View the spectacular Wonderland and Mount William Ranges and the picturesque village of Halls Gap nestled between the mountain ranges.
Mt Difficult Road, off Mt Victory Road, Central Grampians

Mount William
At 1,167 metres, Mount William is the highest point in the park and provides great 360-degree views of mountain ranges and open plains. Take the steep walk to reach the summit.

The Bluff at Mt Arapiles
Drive to the top of Mt Arapiles-Tooan State Park for spectacular views over the Wimmera Plains from the rugged sandstone peak of Mt Arapiles.
Take the Centenary Park Road off the Wimmera Highway
