For those that want to keep the party going, why not spend the night at a local winery? Settle in for a long lunch or degustation dinner hosted by the region's vineyards as part of the annual Seduction by Tastebuds events, a celebration of slow food which marries local produce with Pyrenees wines.

Race day
Join the merry throng of race-goers at the Avoca Shire Turf Club for the Avoca Cup. Missed the annual spring race meets? Get the country racing experience at the Mount Avoca Anzac Day Races.

If the races aren't for you, explore the Pyrenees Mountain Ranges at your own pace. The ranges is a great spot for camping as well as bike riding and bushwalking for all skills and fitness levels. Go for a scenic hike or take it up a notch on a downhill mountain biking track.
