Whether you are a volunteer, a committee member, an event planner or organiser, a community group, a progress association, a sporting club or an events officer- lock in Friday June 2 from 9:00-3:00pm for the free 2017 Events Forum.The theme for this year’s Forum is 'Growing Your Events', and the talented guest speakers will share their advice and expertise on planning, marketing, funding and developing events:-Pieter Badenhorst- President of Music In The Vines-Mel Stewart- Digital Marketing Specialist from HyperSocial-Caroline Moore- Program Director of Port Fairy Folk Festival-Liz Mecham- Experienced Grant Writer and Event OrganiserInteractive break-out sessions will develop your skills in regards to specific challenges including planning and organising successful events, creating engaging visual content for digital marketing, mastering Facebook, writing grant applications and handling growth and change. Morning tea, lunch and even tastings from wine and beer-makers will keep you quenched through the exciting schedule. There will also be opportunities to gain resources, knowledge and information from local product and service providers to showcase some of the great options we have locally for events. Attendance is free but you must register your place by May 30 via Eventbrite.
