Thousands of foodies and wine lovers will flock to the Grampians Grape Escape (GGE), a month long celebration of Victoria’s best artisans of food and wine culminating in the annual GGE festival weekend to be held in Halls Gap, 6-7 May 2017.

Television presenter, author and 2010 MasterChef winner, Adam Liaw will headline the popular festival which caps off the month devoted to Western Victoria’s best food and wine produce.

Set among ragged mountain ranges, rolling hills and fertile farmland at the base of Mount William in Grampians National Park, the superb weekend includes standout out entertainment featuring cooking demonstrations, wine appreciation panels and master classes showcasing local chefs.

The annual Barrique Auction offers keen bidders the chance to take home the Grampians Winemakers Reserve Shiraz which aims to capture the spirit of the vintage and has never been won by a non-local.

Bring along your friends and taste some of the most flavoursome wine and produce from a huge array of exhibitors who have travelled from near and far. There’s plenty of action for the kids and everyone can try their feet at grape stomping!
