Grampians Wildflower Walkabout

7 - 8 Oct 2017

Grampians Wildflower Walkabout Weekend returns to Halls Gap to celebrate the wonderful native flowers of the Grampians Gariwerd National Park and nearby forests.

The Wildflower Walkabout will concentrate on flowers in their natural setting, however there will also be a display of named flowers at the Halls Gap Hub as well as plants used by local indigenous people for food and other purposes, plus works from artists. The hub is located between the Century Hall and the Visitor Information Centre.

Experts will be on site to help identify flowers.

Held over the first weekend of October, from 9:30am and 5:00pm on Saturday and 9:30am to 4:00pm on Sunday, there will be regular guided walks through the Grampians Flora Botanic Garden, including a night walk on Saturday and an early morning bird walk on Sunday.
