Dunkeld Festival of Music

08 8313 3748

28 Apr - 2 May 2017

Enjoy three days of exquisite chamber music, indulgent dining and fine wines at the Australian String Quartet’s Dunkeld Festival of Music.

Throughout the Festival, the Australian String Quartet will bring to life timeless and purely beautiful music on their matched set of Guadagnini instruments handcrafted in Italy between 1743-1784. They will be joined by leading guest artists, internationally renowned cellist, Pieter Wispelwey and pianist, Caroline Almonte.

In the rich environs of Dunkeld, these very special chamber music performances will be held in some of the area’s most charming venues including the Mt Sturgeon Woolshed.

No festival would be complete without premium culinary experiences and the Dunkeld Festival of Music allows patrons to enjoy the offerings of the Royal Mail Hotel. A gala dinner at the Hotel, a specially catered lunch and morning tea held at the Woolshed are all included in the Festival package.

Dunkeld is a truly magical regional environment within the Southern Grampians and lends a unique charm to this much sought after highlight of the ASQ’s touring calendar.
