Dining
Dine at one of the Great Ocean Road region's finest restaurants serving fresh seafood straight from the ocean and fantastic locally grown produce. Enjoy wonderful seafood at the Geelong waterfront or take a leisurely lunch at the beautiful restaurant on the jetty at Barwon Heads. For fine dining, try one of the excellent winery restaurants such as Pettavel or Oakdene.
You'll also find a wide selection of dining options in the main coastal resorts along the Great Ocean Road. From casual sidewalk cafés with views of the ocean to acclaimed restaurants, all serve the freshest produce from the sea and from the farming hinterland. To dine with an ocean view, head for Chris's at Beacon Point in the hills overlooking Apollo Bay or the delightfully casual Timboon Railway Shed Distillery. Further down the coast at Port Fairy, Merrijig Inn also offers a sensational menu sure to satisfy your foodie expectation.
