Marine and coastal parks
Pounded by wild seas and fierce winds, the coastlines of the Port Campbell National Park and Bay of Islands Coastal Park have been sculpted over millions of years to become one of the most breathtakingly beautiful natural areas in the world. Further down the coast the Discovery Bay Coastal Park is a majestic 50-kilometre sweep of ocean beach, huge dunes and coastal lakes.

Rainforest and inland parks
Some of Australia's best rainforest scenery can be found in the Great Otway National Park. See ancient mossy trees, cool fern gullies, waterfalls and a coast of tall cliffs and sandy beaches.Visit Lower Glenelg National Park offering stunning river scenery including a spectacular 15-kilometre long gorge and the Princess Margaret Rose Cave.

Outdoor life

Camping
Sleep under the stars in the Great Ocean Road region with camping grounds deep in the Otways or pitch a tent by the dunes on a secluded remote beach.
Cycling
Set out for the one ride to rule them all in Victoria, on the Great Ocean Road with its wild coastal scenery, sheer limestone cliffs and resort towns.
Fishing
Target snapper, tuna and kingfish along some of the best ocean fishing grounds along the Great Ocean Road or cast a line for river bream or whiting.
Four-wheel driving
Get off the beaten track and head deep into the Great Otway National Park for easy and challenging four-wheel driving just an hour from Geelong.
Golf
Tee off at scenic golf courses with coastal views on the Great Ocean Road including The Sands at Torquay designed by Australian golfer Stuart Appleby.
Horse riding
