Experience Victoria's Surf Coast and surrounds with a variety of culinary events throughout the month of April. Eat Local Month is the region's premier food, wine and farming festival. The month-long festival gives the chance to sip, sample and taste fresh produce and bounty grown and created by chefs, artisan producers and winemakers. Exclusive dining experiences include Onda Food’s ‘Eat Local Dinner’ made from freshly harvested produce. Producers will share their paddock-to-plate stories with unique 'meet the producer' dining experiences. Regional Farmer's markets, Field Days, Winery Sunday Sessions and the popular Raven's Creek Autumn Fair with great food, local beer and wine, live music and market stalls has something for the whole family. Children will enjoy story time sessions with an environmental theme at The Farmer's Place. There’s plenty of school holiday fun with animal feeding, cooking classes, worm farming and gardening activities. Held at various locations, Eat Local Month aims to bring food lovers, families and local producers together to celebrate the diversity and quality of produce on offer on Victoria's Surf Coast and Otway Hinterlands.
