The Festival showcases the historic pipe organs in four churches in the city of Warrnambool: St Joseph's Catholic Church, Christ Church Anglican Church, St John's Presbyterian Church, and the Uniting Church. Internationally renowned organists from New Zealand, Melbourne, Geelong and Fremantle, Western Australia will give concerts at the 4th Festival from 1st - 3rd September, 2017. The festival opens on Friday night with a Gala Opening Concert followed by a champagne supper. There is a special family concert on Saturday which this year will feature an organist playing The Nutcracker Suite whilst young dancers from a dance school in Warrnambool perform. Young organ scholars will also give brief performances at the family concert. This will be followed by Master Classes given by one of our international organists. Two other concerts will be presented on Saturday afternoon and evening. On Father's Day, 3rd September we are presenting a special concert in the afternoon to appeal to fathers and their families. All the organ concerts include other musical items such as solo singers, a male vocal quartet and a trumpeter. At each concert refreshments are provided either before or after the recital.
