Dartmoor is a family friendly place on the Glenelg River. The memorial streetscape features ten Atlantic Cedar tree carvings reflecting the experiences and images of local war veterans.The Avenue of Honour was planted 7 September, 1918. The trees, Atlantic Cedars, commemorated sixty World War One servicemen and nurses from Dartmoor District.A plaque naming those commemorated is located outside the Dartmoor Memorial Hall.
