Blackhorse Park is a 20 acre property on gently undulating pasture in the prestigious Boorolite Valley, scattered with age old European oaks, elms, poplars and pin oaks backing on to Mansfield State Forest. The accommodation comprises of an 1850's homestead, converted stables and a original 1850's outhouse all currently undergoing extensive renovations to restore its rich history.Wander the property, sit by the dam, sip on a glass of your favourite wine, read a book or just relax and enjoy the picturesque landscape.Blackhorse Park's idyllic central location is just twenty minutes to Mt Buller, ten minutes to Goughs Bay, fifteen minutes to the Mansfield township, fifteen minutes to Macs Cove, Howqua Inlet and Jamieson.If you would like to bring your horse and ride the vast expanses of the Great Victorian High Country, it is on your doorstep. With endless tracks to ride, you will be amazed at the breathtaking scenery and awesome riding rails. Your horse can stay for free, or if you are unable to bring one, a local horse and guides can be arranged for you.
The Cabin is fully self-contained and has reverse cycle air conditioning, full size fridge, 32 inch LED television, DVD player, washing machine, all cooking facilities, barbecue, all bedding, linen and towels, tea, coffee, milk and bread.
The Cabin accommodates four people, with a separate double bedroom and a high quality double sofa bed in the living area.
Please note that the 1850's Homestead, converted Chapel and the Hut are currently undergoing extensive renovations to restore their rich history and will be available for bookings soon.
