Ken was born and raised in the Ovens Valley and been inspired by the natural beauty of the area. He began working with wood at a very young age learning much about the local native timbers from his father.

After many years of working in many different fields, in 1993 Ken purchased a portable sawmill and began contract saw milling. Both to make a living, and to produce the timbers needed to pursue his interest in timber crafting.

The products are produces from ethically gained salvaged timbers, purposely milled to produce a specific type of finished item.

Ken's current collection area a progression of his skills and imagination. Created from a mixture of indigenous and exotic species. Many of the timbers are not available commercially.

The exhibition will be open 9am - 5pm daily between September 1 - 28.
