At the end of 2016, the Wangaratta Urban Landcare Group (WULG) launched a new map and informative walking guide detailing Wangaratta's significant trees.

In support of this initiative a photographic exhibition 'Tree Treasures' is being held in the Visitor Information Centre during the months of April and May.

WULG invites both residents and visitors alike to make the most of the mild autumn weather, pick up a walking brochure and take an on foot journey amongst the beautiful trees that exist in the Wangaratta CBD.

'Tree Treasures' presents an opportunity to view and celebrate the considerable contribution trees make to our urban environment and the ongoing 'livability' of Wangaratta.
