Dinner Plain Easter Festival

15 Apr 2017, 15 Apr 2017, 16 Apr 2017

Each year, the alpine village of Dinner Plain puts on one of the best Easter celebrations around. It's a magnificent escape for families with a wide variety of activities and entertainment for all ages.

Saturday 15 April
The village is a hive of activity on Easter Saturday, with jumping castles, kids' entertainment, face painting, huskies, pony and mini tractor rides, as well as live music. The kids' movie nights at the Dinner Plain Community Centre are also a hit.

The Onsen Retreat + Spa opens its doors for the long weekend, providing luxurious pamper sessions, and the village's ski shops hold their renowned Easter sales - now's the time to snare a pre-season bargain!

Sunday 16 April
The Grand Easter Egg Hunt kicks off Easter Sunday and is a must-do for all kids, and it's completely FREE! You might even see the Easter Bunny himself.

Then, jump on the shuttle bus (please pre-book) and head down to The Geebung Polo at the scenic Cobungra Station - Victoria's largest cattle station - and watch the city slickers take on the High Country cattlemen in a no-rules game of polo. A great day out for the whole family.
