School Holidays art workshop with Dylan Martorell

For this workshop kids will make instruments and sculpture from recycled materials from the local community, including old farm equipment and junk. At the culmination of this two part workshop, kids will perform a musical piece on the stage of the Boorhaman Hall with artist Dylan Martorell. This performance will be recorded and uploaded to YouTube, and available for viewing at the Open Day on Saturday October 7th.

About the artist: Dylan Martorell is a Melbourne based artist who works with found materials and robotics to create immersive sonic installations. He has worked nationally and abroad and will be spending three weeks in Boorhaman working with local materials
