Come learn all things quince. Morning tea will be served on arrival. Sustenance.

Then take a walk with The Cook, Gena, down to the quince orchard where you will be amongst these gorgeous fruits, dangling and calling to be picked.

After harvesting quince to take home, the group will head back to the Yackandandah Organics' farm kitchen. Here, The Grower, Steve, will answer any questions you have about growing quince trees. Ask away.

Gena will then take you through recipes for three different delectable quince dishes and together you will get cooking them.

Afterwards, you will be hungry. Sit down together (under the vines if weather permits) and indulge in all of the dishes the group has prepared and a cheese platter of local cheeses alongside our own home made quince paste, of course. Sip on local quality wines suited to the occasion and pots of tea and coffee.

You will head home with a bag of quinces you harvested that morning and all three recipes and information on all things quince.

Please bring your own apron and bag for quinces.
