Simon Arkless acclaimed ‘One Hat’ head chef of Terrace Restaurant will be joined by London food luminary, Toby Burrowes of one Michelin star Elystan Street London, for a degustation dinner at Terrace Restaurant on Saturday 23rd December 2017.

Toby started his culinary career at age 14 at a family-run Italian restaurant. In 2016, Toby moved to Elystan Street in Chelsea, London and was appointed Head Chef. Whilst working at Elystan Street, the restaurant achieved numerous top accolades, including a Michelin star in the Michelin UK and Ireland Guide 2018, the AA Restaurant of the Year in London 2018, and three AA Rosettes in the AA Restaurant Guide 2018.

British-born Simon Arkless culinary career started in London at OXO and Harvey Nicholls' ‘Fifth Floor’ renowned restaurants. Soon after relocating to Melbourne, he established a reputation and following at The Elbow Room, Essendon; Comme, Melbourne; and The Prince, St Kilda. In 2012, Simon moved to North East Victoria and joined the team at Terrace Restaurant as Head Chef.
