The extraordinary Louise Ritchie, from the reputable Silver Creek Sourdough Bakery in Beechworth, is returning to Yackandandah Organics' farm kitchen to teach home cooks how to make a perfect sourdough. Louise is incredibly passionate and knowlegable about sourdough, and to watch her knead and bake is both mesmerising and inspirational. Do not miss this class.

In recent years the popularity of sourdough has grown and not all sourdough is authentic. Now is your opportunity to learn from the local guru how to make your very own sourdough, and impress your family and friends at home in your own kitchen.

Enjoy home-made morning tea before getting your hands working. Louise will take you through all to do with sourdough starters, mixing, shaping and baking the perfect loaf. This is very much a hands-on cooking class. Flour will be flying.

After mixing, kneading and baking, be seated for a well-earned lunch with Louise and the group. Take in the vista, relax and indulge in freshly made sourdough served with locally produced butter and a warming, delicious fresh pot of soup made from organic vegetables from the garden and local wine.
