The Wangaratta Library is a premier facility of its type in North East Victoria, housed within a newly-developed historical building containing a wealth of information and material for all ages and interests.

Members have the ability to borrow from collections and may borrow up to ten items at a time. The library has a well-stocked reading section with newspapers and magazines, or you can borrow books, videos, talking books either on tape or CD, DVD’s, CD-roms and large print items for the visually impaired.

Search the internet at the library or if you have access at home, go online to the Wangaratta Library Website. It provides a range of online resources including databases, with over 1,000 magazine and newspaper titles or search the library catalogue and place reservations at your convenience.

A range of programs available for children include preschool story time, bedtime story-time and school holiday activities. Keep an eye out for adult programs such as the book group and guest speakers. Modern meeting rooms and training facilities are available for hire at reasonable rates.
