A relaxed degree of difficulty
Take a meandering journey through the beautiful Ovens River Valley between Wangaratta and Bright on the Murray to the Mountains Rail Trail.
Arm yourself with a map, two wheels and a few mates to track down Victoria's best fresh produce. Pedal between small village producers and filling your basket with gourmet cheeses, fresh berries, wine and olives along the way. Take the Muscat Trail around Rutherglen to sample renowned fortified wines at age-old vineyards.
Home to the Dirty Dozen cycling trails, Victoria's High Country is a wonderland of downhill runs, cross country tracks, jumps courses, off-camber sections and much more.
Head up to Mount Buller to experience some of the best downhill and cross country mountain biking in Victoria, if not Australia. Test your endurance on their new EPIC trail, a world-class course acknowledged by the International Mountain Biking Association. Follow the Klingsporn Bridle Track along an old stockmen's track or discover the popular Copperhead Trail. Keep going at trails in Falls Creek, Bright and Mount Beauty, and then try out the Flame Trees Trail near Beechworth – designed by the World Trail crew.
