Explore the picture perfect landscapes, orchard groves, historic sites and buildings, charming cottage gardens and picnic and paddling spots along this leisurely cycling route. This easy family-friendly loop follows Morse’s Creek from the centre of Bright to the picturesque Gold Rush village of Wandiligong. Don’t miss the Lyrebirds Lair, a tiny but inviting gallery housed in what was once the Wandiligong Library.
Pedal further into the valley and drop in at Nightingale’s Orchards for a refreshing sweet or dry apple cider and taste the various apple varieties grown there before heading up the quiet country lane to Wandiful Produce. Take a self-guided tour of this working, bio-dynamic chestnut orchard and pick your own produce or gather eggs before enjoying a chai tea and chestnut flour pizza at the farm cafe. On the home leg, don’t miss the Mountain View (Wandi) Pub with its fantastic beer garden and top notch nosh.
