This exhibition holds various elements within it, stemming from a group of ten very diverse, but close knit group of emerging artists.

All currently studying Visual Arts at RMIT university, this group of artists came together, despite their dissimilarities in each individual’s artworks. These divergences are expressed in the varying types of mediums and subject matter within their works. Ranging from works inspired by the human figure, represented through realism or abstraction, works displaying pattern and texture, Deca Collectiva also showcases artists using symmetry or expressive brushstrokes to establish aesthetic or conceptual based art.

Deca Collectiva will also feature sculpture and photographs inspired by everyday objects, reflecting personal routines, opinions or interests.
