Cuisine and culture combine at Common Lawn

1 Apr 2017

South Wharf played an important role in Melbourne’s early history, welcoming ships, their cargoes, crews and passengers from all over the word.

As one of Melbourne’s historic epicentres, South Wharf is now home to a range of culturally diverse restaurants that will come together for this year’s Melbourne Food and Wine Festival to bring you the Progressive Culture Celebration.

Restaurants Akachochin, BangPop, Bohemian and Meat Market have teamed up to create a progressive six-course dinner that celebrates dishes from Japan to Spain and, of course, the vibrant city of Melbourne.

While overlooking the Yarra River and city skyline, guests will also enjoy an ample supply of wines and cocktails to match each meal.
