Mozart was a true musical genius. From the age of five until his untimely death at just 35, the prolific Austrian composer achieved a catalogue of over 600 works. So how did he do it, and what was life like for the immensely talented musical prodigy?

In this first of four concerts, the MSO will uncover, with the aid of historical documents and written accounts, the life and times of a true boy genius through the music that Mozart created in his earlier years.

Covering a selection of pieces composed between the ages of 5 to 22, including Mozart’s Exsultate, jubilate, Eine kleine Nachtmusik, Symphony No.31 Paris, join celebrated conductor Richard Egarr and the MSO for this fascinating archaeology dig, and discover details you never knew about one of humanity’s most gifted musical talents.
