Pianist and composer, Danilo Rojas is one of the most important musicians of Bolivia.

His work in improvisation comes directly from the tradition of Andean and popular music of his country, a fusion inherited from his father the prolific composer Gilberto Rojas. Danilo has written the Bolivian Song Book, produced jazz festivals in his country and is the current leader and collaborator of the Bolivian International Jazz Festival.

Cuecas, sambas, chacareras, huaynos, and landos express the current South American music of today; this performance of his compositions with his quartet.

Accompanied by Emiliano Beltzer (Bass), Salvador Persico (percussion) and Al Kerr (drums).
