Since its inception in 2013, Melbourne-based chamber choir Polyphonic Voices has quickly established itself as one of Australia's most exciting young choirs, presenting polished, innovative and engaging performances of choral music from across the ages.

For their final concert program of 2016, Polyphonic Voices is joined by the internationally award-winning Adelaide Chamber Singers for a performance of Gabriel Fauré's beloved Requiem Op.48, accompanied by a chamber orchestra and featuring soloists Suzanne Shakespeare (soprano) and Nick Dinopoulos (bass-baritone). The performance will be conducted by Polyphonic Voices' Artistic Director Michael Fulcher.

The program will also feature Polyphonic Voices and the Adelaide Chamber Singers presenting their own selections of unaccompanied choral music, including Herbert Howells' moving Take Him, Earth, for Cherishing and Paul Stanhope's Lament to St. Cecilia.
