Melbourne Murder Tours

Chinatown Murder Tours explores the oldest Chinese community outside of Asia. In the 1850's, Little Bourke Street quickly became the home for thousands of Chinamen.

This tour explores the locations where murders, crime and bizarre events have taken place, including brothels, opium dens and cocaine sniff houses.

Tours are conducted by guides in period costume, illustrating a character that would have once worked or lived in Chinatown.

Melbourne Murder Tours are based around actual crimes that took place in locations such as Chinatown in Little Bourke Street and the laneways of Carlton.

On these tours, you will be taken to actual locations of where the murders took place or murderers lived, while learning about the introduction of fingerprints and the impact of social media and photography on solving crimes.

The tours cover murders from the four major crime periods in Victoria involving the Bushrangers, gangsters, The Painters and Dockers, and the Underbelly series.
