Georgie Bass Cafe and Cookery is all about putting fresh, local and seasonal produce on your plate. So they have handpicked the best regional farmers, dairies, orchards and vineyards to help serve simple, delicious food that not only looks great but tastes fabulous.To help you repeat the Georgie Bass experience at home they are running a series of hands-on cooking classes that will inspire you to challenge yourself in the kitchen. Led by their industry leading chefs and cooked with premium Miele equipment, these classes cater for a maximum of 11 people, ensuring you receive personalised tuition throughout each class. They cater for all levels of experience, however if you do view yourself as a master chef in your own right, then perhaps look at some of the more complex classes.Starting down on the Flinders foreshore this class is all about sourcing what is around us. You will be picking 'native Aussie ingredients' like wild herbs and edible flowers whilst learning about the seafood varieties off shore. Back in the Miele kitchen you will prepare a restaurant quality dish and accompaniments. *Forage is subject to weather being suitable.
