Georgie Bass Café and Cookery is set amongst kitchen gardens, offering a range of innovative and healthy options which reflect local seasonal produce. With a focus on wholesome food, plenty of outdoor dining spaces, gardens featuring lush boxes of herbs and vegetables, and a new cooking school equipped with top of the line Miele appliances have made Georgie Bass the talk of the town.

George Bass, Matthew Flinders’ fellow explorer and best mate, would surely applaud this bold adventure into new culinary realms.

A series of hands-on cooking classes are offered allowing everyone to repeat their dining experiences at home, led by industry-leading chefs and cooked with premium Miele equipment, so everything works perfectly.

Their favourite cooking classes include, The Rise and Fall of the Great Soufflé, Death by Chocolate, My Love Affair with France, From Patch to Plate and Just like Nonna Used to Make.

Cook and Stay packages, in conjunction with the Flinders Hotel, offer guests the opportunity to participate in a hands-on cooking class at Georgie Bass Café and Cookery, before immersing in luxury accommodation at Quarters.
