Overview

Food & wine

For stunning ocean views, fresh seafood, al fresco dining and locally grown produce, nothing compares to the bountiful offerings of Phillip Island.

Island dining

Enjoy a wide array of dining options throughout Phillip Island's villages and relax and spend quality time with friends and family at quaint beach cafes.

Dine al fresco by the water at The Foreshore Bar and Restaurant in Rhyll, or head to Cowes for a diverse range of choices including Japanese tapas at Youki's and fresh seafood at Harry's on the Esplanade. Cruise on to Newhaven and tuck into uniquely Australian flavours at seaside Cape Kitchen.

Wine and dine

A reputation for cool climate wines with full fruit flavours makes cellar door tastings a must. Meet local winemakers and stay for lunch among the beautiful vines.

Sip on a sparkling Shiraz at the family-owned Purple Hen Winery and enjoy views across the waters of Western Port Bay. Pair local wine with live music and visual art at Phillip Island Winery, or travel east to the Rusty Water Brewery for handcrafted ales and ciders.

Fresh is best

Source seafood straight from the boat at the San Remo Fisherman's Cooperative, or catch your own at the Rhyll Trout and Bush Tucker Farm to create a dinner that will impress the family.

Kick off your day with fresh pastries from San Remo Bakehouse and your favourite brew at BeanD. Check out the great blend of European history and local produce at the monthly Churchill Island farmers' market and fill the car boot with fresh veges, fruit and local produce, including gourmet offerings from Bassine Specialty Cheeses.
