Australian masters and local gems
The Mildura Arts Centre features changing exhibitions of contemporary and historical arts and crafts as well as the permanent collection. The permanent collection includes the largest single collection of paintings by Sir William Orpen, renowned works by Sir Frank Brangwyn and Frederick McCubbin, as well as Edgar Degas' Bathing Woman.
Visit Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery to catch some of the best touring exhibitions from around Australia, or stop into the Shepparton Art Gallery to see works by John Brack, Arthur Streeton and contemporary artists like Sam Jinks and Patricia Piccinini.
The Shepparton Art Gallery (SAM) also houses an internationally recognised ceramic collection with pieces from across the country.
