See more of The Murray region by bicycle, from leisurely rides along the banks of the Murray River, multi day races, charity rides, and mountain bike adventures in national parks.
By the water
The region's flat terrain makes it the perfect landscape to explore on two wheels. Hire a bike or bring your own and pedal around Echuca, Shepparton, Swan Hill and Mildura. Venture further afield through scenic national parks, and on past rolling vineyards and orange groves. Get up close to the region's stunning pink lakes, sand dunes, billabongs and wetlands.
Sign up for the Port to Port charity ride, the weekend after the Melbourne Cup, and make your way from Mildura to Echuca, stopping at Swan Hill for the night. For competitive types and fans of professional cycling, The Tour of the Murray River is a must. This six day, seven stage road tour kicks off in Mildura, with the finish line near Lake Mulwala in Yarrawonga.
Try out the new Moama Five Mile mountain bike trail, boasting seven kilometres of purpose built track including a skills area, a pump track and a well-stocked inventory of berms, jumps and rollers. If you’re in the Albury Wodonga region, unload your bike at Nail Can Hill reserve and choose from a range of trails on offer.
