The Bardi Gras 2017 Local Frog Festival will be on the top floor of the Barmah Forest Heritage and Education Centre and will feature the theme of local frogs, plus celebrate local Aboriginal Heritage - it will display an Aboriginal Dreamtime Story based on Tiddalik the Frog.

The children's story will be called Po-bonk-l Bunyma Bapalwa = Pobonk Creates a Flood. Po-bonk is the Yorta Yorta name for the Pobblebonk Frog from this area. It will be written in both Yorta Yorta and English and will be illustrated by local children.

The community art display will be multi-media and feature the local frogs and their environment and include information and identification notes about them.

Also Lyn Loger can be contacted via email.
