Follow the Echuca Moama Food and Wine Trail or The Farm Gate Trail for the chance to sample the best produce of the region. From local wines and fresh fruit and vegetables to artisan chocolates and sweets, there's plenty on offer for self-caterers to stock up on.
Blessed with a sunny, Mediterranean climate, the Murray is the centre of Australia's dried fruit industry. It's also the state's largest wine-producing region, boasting over two-thirds of the state's total wine output.

The Hume Murray Farmers Market in Wodonga is a regional favourite, as is the fortnightly Sunraysia Farmers' Market in Mildura.
